QuidditchUK are today releasing the revised financial statement for the 2016/2017 season. The report (linked below) provides information regarding QuidditchUK’s income and expenditure across all of our tournaments and other activities for the 2016/17 season.
QuidditchUK would like to apologise for the delay in publishing this revised report following the retraction of the earlier version in January 2018. This retraction follows inconsistencies in the referee payments reported throughout the season, which are currently being reconciled by an accountant. QuidditchUK acknowledge that delays like this are frustrating and as a result of the issues in publishing this report, the improvement of transparency throughout our organisation is of critical importance and is something we are prioritising before the beginning of the 2018/2019 season. Our aims include facilitating better communication between clubs, players and volunteers; and a single streamlined system for managing expenses and officials payments/reimbursements alike.
